A Vegan’s Journey Through Disney World

A Vegan's Journey

Being vegan can be difficult on vacation especially at an amusement park. This guide below is just an overview of the options at Disney World. If the item does not say “vegan”, ask a cast member for ingredients and an allergy menu!

Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Scoops, Hollywood Boulevard

  • Tofutti Ice Cream

PizzaRizzo, Muppet Courtyard

  • Follow Your Heart Cheese Pizza

ABC Commissary, Commissary Lane

  • Gardenburger

L’Artisan des Glaces, France (World Showcase)

  • Waffle Cone and Fruit Sorbet

Sunshine Seasons, Future World

  • Vegan Korma
  • Vegan Flatbread
  • Vegan Desserts
  • Vegan Snacks (candy bars, chips, gummy bears)

Liberty Inn, America (World Showcase)

  • Beyond Meat Burger on vegan brioche bun

Everyone has raved about the Beyond Burger, but personally I did not enjoy it at all. The “meat” smelled and tasted like real burger meat rather than a veggie burger like I am used to. If you miss the taste and smell of real meat, this burger is for you.

Magic Kingdom

Aloha Isle, Adventureland

  • Pineapple Dole Soft Serve and/or Float

Liberty Square Market, Liberty Square

  • Sweet Potatoes
  • Salted Potatoes
  • Corn

Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, Main Street USA

  • Tofutti Ice Cream and/or Root Beer Float (Vanilla and Chocolate)
  • Rice Dream Ice Cream (Vanilla)

Cool Ship, Tomorrowland

  • Mickey Pretzel

Pinocchio Village Haus, Fantasyland

  • Vegan Cheese Pizza

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, Tomorrowland

  • Falafel Burger without tzatziki

This falafel burger was pretty bland, if you can find hummus, I would suggest adding it.

Animal Kingdom

Tamu Tamu Refreshments, Africa

  • Pineapple Whip Soft-Serve

If you are 21 or older, order this with dark or coconut rum!

Mr. Kamal’s, Asia

  • Seasoned Fries without tzatziki
  • Falafel without tzatziki

Pizzafari, Discovery Island

  • Daiya Cheese Pizza

Satu’li Canteen, Pandora

  • Chili-Spiced Fried Tofu Bowl with Charred Onion Chimichurri (ALL BASES ARE VEGAN) (Black bean vinaigrette is NOT vegan)

Disney Springs

Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC, The Landing

  • Everything is vegan and gluten free

Sprinkles, Town Center

  • Vegan Red Velvet Cupcake

If you are here during the week of your birthday, sign up for their rewards program and get a free cupcake!

Earl of Sandwich, Marketplace

  • Veggie Sandwich without cheese or pesto
  • House Salad
  • Greek Salad without cheese or chicken

Blaze Pizza, Town Center

  • Build Your Own Pizza (Daiya Cheese Available)
All Star Music Resort

Intermission Food Court

  • Vegetable Burger

Singing Spirits Pool Bar

  • Frozé

If you are 21 or older, I highly suggest the frozé

Here are few tips for when you are at the parks:
  • Use the app to order meals online (selected stores only)
  • Pack water and snacks such as:
    1. Nuts
    2. Granola Bar
    3. Fruit
  • Always bring sanitizer!
  • Bring a portable phone charger (link for one in “Gifts Under $25” post)
  • Bring a sweater
  • A small pouch to store your personal items
