It’s June 1st aka the best day of the year….National Donut Day! To celebrate today I wanted to share with all my favorite vegan donut shops!
Stan’s Donuts in Chicago
This donut spot is all around Chicago but originated in California. They only have a few options but they are both yeast donuts. One is a sugar and the other is a traditional glaze donut. Make sure to stop in on your next trip to Chicago!
Voodoo Doughnuts in Portland
If you have not had Voodoo Doughnuts, you are for sure missing out. They have many locations in Portland but have been expanding and now have a shop in Orlando at the Universal Studios City Walk! The vegan options are endless here. My boyfriend and I tried a lot of different ones when we visited Portland and by far my favorite was the Portland Cream.
Rise in Grand Rapids
Rise Grand Rapids is an all vegan bakery. They don’t have a store front yet but they are very well known in the coffee shop scene in Grand Rapids. This bakery makes gluten free and vegan donuts and they have been expanding to different items such as “pop tarts”, lemon bars, brownies. Dart’s Donuts in Grand Rapids
Dart’s has so many donuts and about 3 vegan options that change weekly. If you’re in East Grand Rapids on the weekend, stop in for their vegan beignets. They are amazing and freshly baked!
Donut Farm in Oakland
Donut Farm has a location in Oakland and in LA. Their donuts are mostly cake donuts and have very unusual but delicious flavors!
Donut Friend in Los Angeles
HANDS DOWN THE BEST VEGAN DONUTS. This place is not only all vegan but you can create your own, have a donut ice sandwich, and their flavors are out of the box! I honestly crave these donuts daily. I can’t wait to only be an hour flight away!
Erin McKenna’s Bakery at Disney Springs
This shop makes a great edition to Disney Springs in Orlando. Everything is vegan and gluten free! They have so many sweet treats and it never disappoints.
Nami in Phoenix, Arizona
After my flight into Arizona for a conference I needed a pick me up so I looked for the nearest vegan spot. I found Nami and it satisfied my craving! Their donut was so moist and rich!
The Salted Donut in Miami, Florida
One of best friend’s who is also vegan told me about this new donut shop near Wynwood Walls and she insisted I try it out! I’ve only been there once but I would love to go back to see their other vegan flavors.
And that’s it for my favorite vegan donuts! I can’t wait to try new vegan shops when I travel.
