Vegan in the Twin Cities

Hi friends!

Over Memorial weekend the fam and I drove to Mall of America in Minnesota. I heard a lot of great things about vegan options in Minneapolis and St. Paul so I was very excited to try out some new spots. Check them out below!

During my trip I was craving an açaí bowl or a smoothie. I found Truce and loved the menu. I got The Whole Truth and honestly drank the entire drink before I even got to my car, it was that good!

The Herbivorous Butcher

This place has been on my bucket list for a while so I was very excited to try it. When I walked in I was surprised because it really looked and felt like a deli. If I was a local I would come in their weekly to get “meat”. I got a breakfast panini and it was amazing. Their vegan sausage and mozzarella had a great flavor and texture! They had a nice selection of “meats” and “cheeses” but also had a lot of other vegan treats like vegan babka. I could eat that bread everyday, it was so good!

J. Selby’s

Every time I go somewhere new I look for vegan brunch and I found it in Minnesota! This restaurant had so many different options I had a hard time choosing what I wanted. I ending up getting a side of biscuits and gravy and the french toast. Both really satisfied my craving for good vegan breakfast food! I also had a kombucha mimosa and it was actually really tasty! Before leaving I made sure to grab something sweet to go. I got a s’more cookie, which was a great snack for later!

Mall of America

The mall actually had a lot of vegan options but I was really looking forward to the new vegan burger place, Earth Burger. It wasn’t open when I was there but it says “opening soon!”

I ate Freshii and Panera while I was there but here are some other options:

• Masu Sushi

• Naf Naf Grill

• Noodles & Co

• CRAVE

Next time you’re in the Twin Cities check out these spots!
